Privacy Policy

At a glance

Who’s My Person (WMP) uses a passwordless account tied to your verified email. Waitlist, profile, training, calibration, prospect, event, consent, and journey records are stored in durable user-owned records so your progress can resume across sessions. WMP does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Profile and session information

The app may store the information you choose to provide, including your dating preference, birth date, optional birth time and time zone, birth city and country, relationship goal, places you look for partners, notes about past relationships, celebrity-training choices, match checks, and saved sessions.

This information is associated with your passwordless account. An encrypted, server-side session and HTTP-only cookie keep you signed in; ordinary browser scripts cannot read the session cookie. Anyone who can use your active signed-in browser session may still be able to view your WMP information.

Other information processed by the site

WMP may process the following limited information:

• Celebrity lookups and calibration records. When you submit an IMDb celebrity link, WMP retrieves public information from Wikidata and a reusable portrait and licensing details from Wikimedia Commons. A small reviewed calibration record may also include a published birth time, time zone, chart-sign record, source name and URL, and review date. Public celebrity records may be kept in a shared server cache.
• Takedown and privacy requests. If you submit the celebrity takedown form, WMP receives the contact details, authority, URLs, and explanation you provide. The request is emailed to the site operator and may be retained to review, respond to, document, and resolve the request.
• Technical information. The hosting provider and WMP may automatically record an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, session activity, and security events in ordinary logs.
• AI-assisted features. When you use an AI lesson guide or coach, WMP may send the minimum relevant prompt, reflection, or deterministic result to OpenAI for a response. WMP instructs the API not to retain response state and does not send secret ranking weights. AI may be unavailable or imperfect and cannot change a Stop Gate result.

How information is used

• Provide your private profile, compatibility flow, training library, and saved sessions.
• Calculate WMP results and generate coaching output on the server.
• Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect site security.
• Review and respond to takedown, correction, copyright, and privacy requests.
• Comply with applicable law and protect WMP, its visitors, and third parties.

Service providers and external services

DreamHost provides website hosting and email delivery. OpenAI provides optional AI-assisted feedback and coaching. Wikidata and Wikimedia Commons supply public celebrity data and licensed media. Some reviewed calibration records cite a published third-party astrology source, such as Astrotheme. If you follow an external link, that service’s own privacy policy applies.

WMP does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and browser signals

WMP uses essential cookies for session continuity, security, and cross-site request forgery protection. It does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Because WMP does not sell personal information or use cross-site behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change the site’s current practices.

Retention and security

Account and experiment records remain until you request deletion or WMP applies a documented retention schedule. Clearing browser cookies signs you out but does not delete the account. Public celebrity cache entries may remain until refreshed or removed. Takedown requests, safety records, publication consent, and related correspondence may be kept as reasonably necessary to address requests, maintain required records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

WMP uses reasonable safeguards, including encrypted transport, HTTP-only session cookies, request validation, and server-side mail configuration. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Your choices and requests

You can remove individual prospect sessions and choices in the app and may request an account export or account deletion. Journey sharing is private by default, selectable per entry, and never becomes public merely because something was uploaded. Public consideration requires affirmative consent, editorial review, consent from identifiable partners, and approval of the final edited version. To raise a concern about a celebrity record, use the Celebrity Takedown Notice form. WMP may need to verify identity or authority before acting.

Children

WMP is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. WMP does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

WMP may update this policy as the site changes. The effective date above will be revised when a material update is posted.
